Christopher Sparrow MRICS

Christopher qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1996 with Strutt & Parker in Yorkshire before moving to Cluttons in Bath. At the age of 30 he moved client side to become the Resident Agent of the 11,500 acre Boughton Estate, the Northamptonshire home of the Duke of Buccleuch.

Eleven years later Christopher was appointed as Head of Rural for the Duchy of Lancaster, the 50,000 acre private estate and coastal portfolio which now belongs to His Majesty the King, as Duke of Lancaster. During his tenure Christopher moved the management function back in-house whilst also closing out a substantive heritage restoration, property investment and land acquisition program alongside the provision of significant offshore renewable energy infrastructure.

Over the last decade Christopher has also undertaken a number of Non-Executive Directorships. He joined the Camgrain Board in 2014 and has had the privilege of Chairing two industry based charities.

Each element of his career has helped shape a fair and engaging ethos which is displayed in all that he does. He is delighted to bring his broad skills to this new and exciting venture at a time when so much is rapidly changing within the rural operating environment.
